2021 Legislative Session

Wyoming has 30 Senate Districts and 60 House Districts.  Each Wyoming resident has one Senator and one Representative.  To locate your Senator and Representative and get their contact information, visit the website for the Wyoming Legislature.

Eight anti-choice bills were filed during the 2021 legislative session.  Three of them passed.

  1. Senate File No. SF0034, “Born alive infant-means of care,” passed.
  2. Senate File No. SF0096, “Homicide amendments,” passed.
  3. House Bill No. HB0253, “Higher education-ban on funding for abortion,” passed.
  4. House Bill No. HB0161, “Human life equality-prohibiting discriminatory abortions,” passed in the House and passed in the Senate Labor, Health & Social Services Committee but was not heard in Senate Committee of the Whole by the cutoff deadline.
  5. Senate File No. SF0133, “Prohibiting abortifacients and chemical abortions,” passed in the Senate but was not assigned to a committee in the House.
  6. House Bill No. HB0235, “Human life protection act,” was not assigned to a committee in the House.
  7. House Bill No. HB0070, “Abortion-informed consent,” passed in the House Labor, Health & Social Services Committee but was not heard in House Committee of the Whole by the cutoff deadline.
  8. House Bill No. HB0134, “Human heartbeat protection act,” passed in the House Labor, Health & Social Services Committee but was not heard in House Committee of the Whole by the cutoff deadline.
